Len White, PhD
Co-Founder
Dr. White is a Founder of HRT and Senior Researcher at the U.S. Army Research Institute and has applied psychological principles and methods to improve productivity and solve problems in the workplace. He has over 35 years of experience consulting with both military and civilian clients in the areas of personnel selection, performance measurement, leader development, program evaluation, and statistics. Dr. White’s integrated assessment systems have been applied broadly by the Armed Services to assess suitability for enlistment and selection for special assignments.
Dr. White contributed to the development of valid assessments for measuring the psychological factors related to athlete success at the collegiate and professional level. The output can be used for selection or to guide player development. For HRT’s clients, he has tested draft candidates to assess critical factors relating to future success. In these applications, Dr. White uses advanced analytics to link the test data to future performance outcomes and created player profiles showing these relationships for key team personnel.
Dr. White holds a Ph.D. in organizational and applied psychology from Purdue University. He has published over 80 journal articles, book chapters, papers, and technical reports. He has served as an instructor in the graduate school at George Mason University and as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University. Dr. White is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. He and his family reside in Fairfax, Virginia.
